Here are all the forgotten heroes that most people don't even know exist but keep the festival going and clear up afterwards. Much dismantling was under way by Monday afternoon, as can be seen here. Scroll down to see how things were progressing during the week.

Tuesday

Things had progressed significantly by Tuesday. I took a load of pics standing on top of the camper van to make a panorama. As yet, I've only been able to get one to work at all (and only roughly) - it really needs a tripod to do this properly but, with dodgy knees to start with, wobbling about with one on the top of the van wasn't really recommended! (In addition to which, AutoPano and Enblend have stopped working for me and I haven't got time to fiddle at present so this will have to do for now.) See what a difference the lack of sunshine made too!

Here's a rather wonky panorama of the Village Green field. It's as good as I can get it at present and, considering it was done by hand, I suppose it's surprising it isn't worse! Others may follow at some stage in the future when I get a mo and can get the hang of it, though I think it's due to having used an ultra wide-angle lens, come to think of it, so it's unlikely to improve.

Thursday

Things are really clearing now. Fence lifting, only a few small marquees left, collection points of items, cleaning down the Land Rover fleet and loading of electrical festoon lamps etc.
